It's time to migrate to OSS 2009 from older versions
As Agnitum is going to cease the support of obsolete antivirus bases (due to the implementation of a new mechanism) from December 1, 2008, you need to migrate from older versions of Outpost Security Suite Pro (2007 and early builds of 2008), which will stop getting antivirus updates at the end of this month — to the 2009 version. There is no cost to migrate to Outpost Security Suite Pro 2009 for users having an active OSS license. Just download the latest product version and insert the license key from your current version! Please take into account that migrating from Outpost Antivirus Pro 2008 is not obligatory.
While the older versions of OSS will continue to work, the virus protection will gradually get more and more out of date, reducing your protection, so we do recommend you migrate at the earliest opportunity. Upgrading to OSS 2009 will ensure the newest and most relevant antivirus, antispyware and web control updates as well as all the other benefits of Outpost Security Suite Pro 2009, including:
- Revamped interface that lets you take care of all settings with just a couple of clicks
- New SmartScan technology that speeds malware scans and improves overall performance
- Enhanced host protection and anti-keylogger functionality
- IP block list to keep web surfing clean
- Antispam support for The Bat!, and much more!

When you will release a new version of Outpost Firewall?
We are planning new versions of all three products in the first months of 2009.
