What is the recommended order to install network related stuff on a fresh Windows 7?

List of software:
a) Outpost Firewall Pro
b) Microsoft Forefront Endpoint Protection / Microsoft Security Essentials
c) Cisco VPN Client or as alternative Cisco AnyConnect
d) Microsoft Networkmonitor
e) WinPCap
f) Microsoft Windows XP Mode
g) VMware Workstation
I know that for this bunch of software the reg key CurrentControlSet\Control\Network\MaxNumFilters needs to be increased.

Many Greetings
Michael

Hello!
I conducted a test on 100 samples OF, SmartDecision unfortunately leaves much to be desired.

Dear Kawa,

We do not recommend execute malwares from the desktop folder for sole Smart Decision testing purposes. This is an unusual location for malware which generally operate from system folders. That is why files executed from the desktop, a home folder with user files, can be considered more safe by Smart Decision than they are in reality.

The location is not the only criteria for the rating of the file. Please, consult http://dl2.agnitum.com/docs/SmartDecision-whitepaper-EN.pdf .

Thank you for your reply and very important tips.
I question whether the digital signature file has a strong influence on decision-making by SmartD.? It seems to me that the files without a digital signature should not be considered as trusted.
I've noticed a tendency to reduce the assessment file on x64 systems. The file system on x32 assessed by SmartD. as a moderate on x64 systems as trusted.
Sorry for my English!

We recommend installing Outpost after other security software. In this case Outpost compatibility wizard will detect a third-party security software and perform all necessary optimizations. Please, consult http://www.agnitum.com/support/kb/article.php?id=1000030&lang=en for further information.
